Saudi Arabia is planning a huge investment. A giant theme park with a total area of 150,000 square meters is to be built on an oil rig in the Persian Gulf.
Saudi Arabia is a country located in the western part of Asia, on the Arabian Peninsula, with a population of more than 35 million people. It is one of the richest countries in the world. Its economy is largely based on the extraction and sale of oil.
In this respect, the Arabs have no equal. Suffice it to mention that more than 30% of the world’s oil reserves come from the Persian Gulf. In the 1980s, companies there even had to reduce production in order to stabilize oil prices on foreign markets.
The Saudis are building the world’s largest airport
However, Saudi Arabian authorities realize that the hundreds of millions of dollars flowing into Riyadh (the country’s capital) from oil production will run out sooner or later. For some time now, the Saudis have been betting heavily on developing the tourism sector.
