Fukushima’s Radioactive Waters to Enter Oceans Despite Cancer Risk
It is known what will happen with the contaminated water from the Fukushima power plant. Expert opinions are divided. There are voices suggesting that the wastewater contains harmful elements for humans.
Japanese authorities have announced that the process of discharging wastewater containing the radioactive isotope called tritium from the damaged Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear power plant into the ocean will begin on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
