New archaeological discovery in Malta

An international team of archaeologists conducting research in Malta recently uncovered elements of a house dating back 2,000 years. It is located in the vicinity of the town of Rabat, not far from Domvs Romana. These are the ruins of a Roman-era building that was first discovered in 1881.

The discovery dates back to the time of the Roman Empire, specifically between the 1st century BCE and the 2nd century CE. It provides a better understanding of the urban fabric, spatial layout of the area, and living conditions around 2,000 years ago.
