Milky Way — everyone thought it was younger, but the truth came out.

The Gaia Space Telescope has been observing our interstellar environment continuously since late 2014, measuring the distances, velocities and motion of more than one billion stars. The latest findings from these observations bring new information about the age of the Milky Way, our galaxy.
