Plant-based diets are growing in popularity not only among consumers but also among scientists. Until now, however, researchers had insufficient data to unequivocally declare this. A breakthrough has come with the results of a meta-analysis published in May 2024, encompassing a 20-year period. The findings were presented in the scientific journal “PLOS ONE.”
