New research shows e-cigarettes can “wake up” cancer cells!
Scientists say that cancer cases will increase within ten years. All because of the huge popularity of e-cigarettes.
Smoking is one of the leading causes of premature death for hundreds of thousands of people around the world. Countless scientific studies and publications and public campaigns have already been written about the harmfulness of tobacco. Even cigarette packs carry information about what smokers risk. For several years now — in many countries — manufacturers have been required to post illustrative pictures of, among other things, smokers’ lungs, which should discourage them from reaching for a cigarette. So much in theory, because in practice 1.2 billion people in the world still smoke.
Smoking causes a number of very serious diseases
Statistics, however, show that the number of smokers is declining. Fewer and fewer people are smoking every year, but addicts are still very numerous. Studies show that men are much more likely to become addicted to cigarettes than women. And the highest number of smokers is in the 40–49 age group.
