The Balearic Islands are popular with more than just beach lovers. Mallorca’s caves, namely Cuevas del Drach and Cuevas Dels Hams, delight with their rich history and beautiful rock formations.

Mallorca is the largest island that is part of Spain’s Balearic archipelago. The islands are located in the western Mediterranean Sea. Like Menorca and Ibiza, Mallorca is popular with tourists — most often from Western Europe. The hottest months in the Balearic Islands are June, July and August. This is also when the peak tourist season falls.

Vacationers come to the islands tempted by picturesque beaches and lagoons. Mallorca has much more to offer. One of the most interesting attractions on the island are the caves.
