There’s no need to wait until winter. It’s worth planning a trip to Trentino later this summer. The 27th edition of the Sounds of Dolomites music festival kicks off on August 22. The event will last a month. It’s a proposal not only for music lovers, but also for art lovers in general, nature and, of course, mountains. It’s hard to imagine a better setting for covering nature and music than the Dolomites, known as the “pale mountains.” Limestone and magnesium rocks form slender, towering formations that, reflecting the colors of the setting and rising sun, shimmer with a whole feast of colors.
